    Parking

There is no charge to park when you arrive for the competition in the morning, however parking will be charged after noon so please alert parents that if they leave and return later, they will be asked to pay for parking.  Parking fee is $10 for cars and $40 for buses after noon.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

    Seat Locations

Seating for the competition will be based on a first come, first serve basis.  Please let your fans know ahead of time.  Early arriving fans will not be allowed to rope off entire sections for parents who are coming later in the day.  The only exception will be coaches can reserve a row or two so their team can sit together.  There will be an area roped off for the judges to sit.

    Concessions

Concession stands will be open and will remain open throughout the competition.  No food or beverage can be brought into the Palace!!

    Re-Admittance

Patrons will be allowed to exit and re-enter with their ticket stub during the competition as well as between the competition and game through the West Entrance.

    Security

All bags and personal belongings are subject to search by the Palace Security upon entering the arena or anytime during the day.  Per NBA and Palace policies, every bag must be searched and tagged prior to admittance.  Please tell your team and limit the bags that are brought in, as this will slow down the lines to enter.

    Spectators

All parents, friends and family attending the competition must pay the $20 competition admission fee.  Upon placing an order, they will receive a “Pom Competition” ticket AND a game ticket.  The “Pom Competition” ticket will get them into the competition, and the game ticket will get them into the Pistons game that night.  A Pistons ticket will not get them into the competition, so if they purchase tickets through other means, they still need to buy a competition ticket.  Please be sure you are communicating this to the parents and fans attending.

Please tell all members of your squad and cheering section to enter at the West entrance.
